THE VENUE FOR NEXT YEAR IS BOOKED
HI ALL.
WHAT A NIGHT. It will certainly go down in history will that one.
The response and the support were overwhelming all thanks to you.
Hopefully the support will carry on for future Venue.
Sadly on the
night some issues were raised which need addressing. We are now forming
a more active committee. We are trying to sort a person. For each area.
Which we have done. this person will be able to give you information.
and gather names and address and forward them on. it as got far to big
for any one man to do by him self.
We propose
the issue of tickets will be dealt in a different way. this should
minimise any confusion at the door. sadly one or two did gain access
with out paying. When the invitations are sent out., with dates and
times etc, there will be a tear off slip at the bottom of the invite,
that you can send back, with amount of tickets wanted and your name and
payment, then send then back in a stamped address envelope.
The main
reason for this is an accurate head count which should sort out any over
crowding thus making it an all ticket venue. SORRY no tickets sold at
the door.
We are
pleased to tell you that the venue for next year as been booked, again
here in Derby, it has a capacity of 500 people there is ample parking,
and very close to the all hotels, bus and train links.
Sadly taking
the reunion venue up a stage has encountered a little extra cost of
£2.per person, so for next year it will cost £12 per person. The venue
is quite a fantastic place, a bar in each room. The partitions will be
drawn back making it one big room. Photos of the venue will be on the
web site shortly there will be 500 tickets, and it will be a first come
first served basis.
